The symposium focused on cutting-edge research on AMOC and its role in the global climate system. The symposium focused on “Observational perspectives,” “Modeling and paleo perspectives,” and “Climatic implications”.
A total of 18 oral presentations were made on topics covering the multiscale temporal and spatial variability of AMOC, its driving mechanisms, paleoclimate reconstruction and climate modeling, and Atlantic and Indo-Pacific interactions.
