On November 25th, the Chinese Society for Oceanology and Limnology announced the recipient of the ZENG Chengkui Fusui Marine Science and Technology Award for Young Scientist - Professor LIU Zhiyu.
The ZENG Chengkui Marine Science and Technology Award was established in honour of Professor ZENG Chengkui. Founded by the Chinese Society for Oceanology and Limnology and CAS Institute of Oceanology, it is the first award in China named after renowned marine scientist, acknowledging individuals who follow the path and inherit the scientific spirit of ZENG. The ZENG Chengkui Marine Science and Technology Award acknowledges outstanding leadership and young scientists. Before Prof. LIU, Prof. HONG Huasheng was awarded for her outstanding leadership, while Prof. DAI Minhan and Prof. WANG Dazhi were both given the honor as creative young scientists.
