流域-河口-近海研究团队在Estuarine Coastal and Shelf Science期刊上组织专刊

在气候变化和人类活动多重干扰下,流域-近海生态环境受到前所未有的影响,包括一系列复杂的生物地球化学过程和生态过程发生了变化。国际上非常强调从山巅到海洋的综合管理,多学科综合和流域-河口-近海系统的整体研究已经成为制定基于生态系统的综合管理政策的重要途径。为加强对这个复杂生态系统的科学认知,基于流域-河口-近海团队多年的研究, 20151218日,王德利、陈能汪、刘红斌(香港科技大学)与Cindy Lee(美国石溪大学)作为客座编辑(Guest editors, 组织团队在Estuarine Coastal and Shelf Science期刊上发表了专刊(第166期),主题为:River-estuary-coast continuum: biogeochemistry and ecological response to increasing human and climatic changes

该专刊收录了10篇研究论文,针对河流-河口-近海的地理空间梯度及重要界面,探讨人类活动与气候变化下相关生物地球化学过程与生态过程的响应,这些研究涉及土地利用变化、电站开发、暴雨事件、河口化学、海洋生态等,综合了观测、实验和模型结果,从生物地球化学、生态学到社会经济学的各种视角,从科学到管理开展系统研究,为国际相关研究提供了重要范例。

此专刊的出版正值洪华生教授从事科研教学生涯30周年,在Guest editors之一Cindy Lee教授的建议下,专以此刊献给在我国海洋环境领域做出卓越贡献的洪华生教授及其团队,以表祝贺。洪华生教授1984年获得美国罗德岛大学海洋学博士学位,1985年回到4166金沙之选主页通道工作,成为中国第一位留学归国的海洋学女博士。在过去的30年里,她高瞻远瞩,开拓创新,视野宽广,带领研究团队和学生努力探索,研究领域涉及海洋生物地球化学循环、常量与痕量营养盐,有机污染物、海洋观测与模型等,并从基础研究延伸到海岸带综合管理理论与实践;她在科学研究、人才培养、学科建设及社会服务等方面均做出了卓越的贡献。
